About Us

Despite our small size we have 31 years of combined experience in this particular aspect of the Companies Act. We have been around long enough to have worked for many years under the old Companies Act (Companies Act 1955), then ‘seen in’ the transition to the (current) Companies Act 1993, dealing with all aspects of the re-registration process for large and small companies; handled company and business sales, structural changes and disputes for our clients. This is not performed with only a superficial understanding of the Act; but a full ‘working knowledge’ of it. Our principal has also worked for the British Governments Department of Trade and Industries Insolvency Service in London. This, coupled with our previous NZ Companies and Insolvency Office employment history it gives you the peace of mind that you are not just dealing with an organisation that has taken advantage of the (now much simpler) method of forming a company available with the advent of the Companies Office online site. You need to know that the people are not just ‘piggy backing to turn a dollar’; do they have the ‘intimate knowledge’, experience and background to give you the peace of mind. We can all perform work on our car but you really should be travelling with the comfort of knowing the brakes aren’t going to fail or the wheels fall off.

Dealings these days can be very impersonal, as it is so easy to hide behind technology and corporate facades. Whenever you are in contact with us you will be dealing with Gary or Tanya Nightingale; no one else. It’s a family business, where we have from the start; put our family name on the line. We have to therefore make sure we are always on our game. This means no ‘oh well’ attitude with our service.
